You have to be mad....

The Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon took place in July 09, where competitors
went through an exhilarating test of stamina, strength and fitness in the beautiful Scotish Highlands.
The Challenge?:
  1. Swim 1.5 Km or 0.8 miles across Loch Tay
  2. Run/Walk 24 Km or 15 miles up and over the seven Munros Mountains
  3. Kayak 11 Km or 7 Miles up to the Loch Tay
  4. Cycle 54 Km or 34 Miles around the Loch perimeter

............In other words, this only meant quadruple the action, quadruple the pain!

My office.....
Luckily for the competitors in this event, a team of Sports Therapists, Physios and Massage Therapists were there to assist with injuries, strapping, sports massages, moral support, and in some instances, phsycological help!

Where most participants suffered from muscle crapms: as they get off their kayacs

By the way, competitors do not officially finish until they cut a melon in two with a sword at the end of the race!

As from us, the therapists who attended to this magnificent event; once we completed all treatmeants all it was left to do was to enjoy the evening eating, taking part in scotish dancing, watching fireworks and camping at the end of the night - Not bad for a days work!
